En mi podio de los mejores discos de producción Argentina!!

Víctor Hamudis, el músico de blues y country (ex Durazno de Gala y El Soldado, entre otros), presentará temas de su último trabajo “One foot in the blues, one foot in de country”. Nacido en Buenos Aires, Víctor Hamudis viene tocando desde los tempranos ’60s, con infinidad de bandas y solistas. Comenzó tocando la batería para músicos como Teddy Vega, cantante de “Hair” (teatro musical), Nacho Smilari, de la Barra de Chocolate, Vox Dei, Willy Pedemonte, la Pesada del Rock & Roll. Músico de Claudia Puyó, también formó parte de los musicos en la era de La Falda Rock. En los 70, funda junto a Yalo López & Botafogo, Studebaker, recordada banda de blues porteño. A principios de los 80’s, forma junto a Botafogo y a Yalo López, Durazno de Gala, banda de blues porteña, única en su estilo y recordada hasta estos días, como la mejor banda de blues argentina de los 80/90. Después de grabar su primer placa con Yalo López & Río Místico, de corte Southern songs & Country, son llamados para tocar junto a Vargas Blues Band en España. Edita dos (2) trabajos discográficos con Yalo López & Río Místico. Actualmente, está presentando su primer disco solista, llamado “One foot in the blues, one foot in the country”, con la base de Patricio “Patito” Raffo en batería y Daniel “Pato” Altieri en bajo y teclados, contando la participación especial de Pol Castillo, como invitado en uno de sus temas.

Chris Cain's crisp lead guitar and gravelly vocals have brought him national recognition. Influenced by B. B. and Albert King as well as various jazz players, Cain has cooked up a jumping sound on the Bay Area circuit. Late Night City Blues A native of San Jose, CA, Cain began playing California blues clubs in the mid-'80s, most notable the JJ's Cafe and JJ's Lounge South Bay circuit. Soon, his following was large enough to earn him a contract with an independent record label, Blue Rock'it. Cain's debut album, Late Night City Blues, was released in 1987. By this time, his backing band featured lead tenor saxophonist Noel Catura, bassist Ron Torbensen, saxophonist Mark Whitney, and drummer Robert Higgins. The album received good reviews, which led to national bookings for Cain and his band, as well as several European dates. In 1988, Cain and his band received a handful of WC Handy Award nominations, including blues band of the year and guitarist of the year. Cain signed to Blind Pig in 1990, releasing his second album, Cuttin' Loose, the same year. The guitarist stayed at Blind Pig for the next few years, releasing Can't Buy A Break in 1992 and Somewhere Along the Way in 1995. Cain and his band remained a popular concert attraction throughout the '90s.

Su estilo expresivo es el resultado de toda una vida de estudio y la búsqueda incesante de la maestría musical. Su pasión y la intensidad son una mezcla de ascendencia griega de su madre y su padre, la herencia de negro alma. Caín se levantó en las historias de la crianza de la niñez de su padre en la histórica calle de Memphis, Beale Street y asistió a su primer concierto de BB King a la tierna edad de tres. Caín recuerda: “Recuerdo que cuando era niño, mi papá solía cortar el césped con música de de Muddy Waters. Cuando miro hacia atrás, que fue muy bien! Siempre hubo música en nuestra casa, Ray Charles, BB King, Freddie King, Albert King, todos los grandes. “A la edad de ocho, Caín se enseñó a tocar la guitarra y comenzó a tocar profesionalmente antes de que él tenía dieciocho años. Chris estudió música en San Jose City College, y pronto la enseñanza de la improvisación de jazz . Durante los próximos veinte años, Caín también maestro de piano, bajo, clarinete, saxofón alto y tenor. La combinación de su crianza y el blues de sus estudios de jazz fusionado para formar el estilo de guitarra abrasador que establece Chris Cain aparte y le ha trasladado a los primeros lugares de la escena de la música blues.

Ana Popovic nace el 13 de mayo de 1976 en la ciudad de Belgrado, antigua Yugoslavia, la primera hija de Milutin y Vesna Popovic. Ana crece en una familia cálida y amorosa donde la música es muy importante. Su padre, Milutin es una buen guitarrista/bajista, que siempre está invitando a los amigos para realizar jam sessions nocturnas. En esta atmósfera Ana crece, escuchando muy a menudo, la impresionante colección de discos de blues y soul de su padre. Por último, a los 15 años, Ana toma la guitarra de su padre. En el colegio Ana es una buena estudiante. Aunque no tiene todavia la curiosidad por la guitarra, aprende con facilidad. Con el telón de fondo de la agitación política en Belgrado, recibe una buena noticia: es seleccionada para asistir a una de las escuelas más destacadas en Belgrado. A pesar de sus años de adolescente rebelde y una situación política inestable en el marco del régimen nacionalista de Milosevic, pasa los exámenes sin problemas. Alrededor de 1991 Ana sucumbe inevitablemente a los encantos de la guitarra. Su padre sigue ayudandola, pero se da cuenta de que el don natural de su hija para tocar el instrumento va más allá de sus propias habilidades. Aunque la familia no es rica, sus padres hacen lo imposible para que asista a clases particulares de guitarra, en las que Ana se deja el alma, sorprendiendo a su maestra con su progreso y el rápido desarrollo de un estilo propio. Por último, al terminar su educación en 1994, Ana toma la decisión de seguir los pasos de su padre, estudiando diseño gráfico en la universidad de Belgrado.
